Compensation: $17-18 per hour based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Tuesday, Thursday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Role Summary:

As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer support and direct patient interaction. Your responsibilities will include managing the patient check-in process, handling phone inquiries, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome each patient warmly and professionally
  • Respond to incoming calls related to patient services
  • Schedule appointments for new and returning patients
  • Collect and confirm patient demographic information
  • Assist with the registration of new patients
  • Gather identification and insurance details, and upload them into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect copayments as required
  • Manage and coordinate referrals for future appointments
