Position Overview:

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operational integrity of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that our environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate activities to uphold the physical and security standards of the facilities.
  • Supervise assigned personnel, including hiring, performance reviews, and scheduling.
  • Conduct regular assessments of facility conditions and equipment, developing maintenance strategies as needed.
  • Prioritize maintenance projects and select suitable services and personnel for execution.
  • Solicit and negotiate bids from service providers for necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee contract services for repairs and maintenance, including HVAC and safety features.
  • Prepare detailed reports on facility conditions and project expenditures for management review.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding projects affecting their operations.
  • Manage equipment downtime by coordinating preventive maintenance efforts.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of five years in a related field, preferably within an automated warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Effective management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Attendance: Regular attendance is essential for this role.
