We are seeking a skilled Communication Specialist to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity to work with children with autism and their families, providing comprehensive communication support. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children aged 2-6.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills of children utilizing various therapeutic strategies and tools.
  • Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education, resources, and support to enhance their child's communication development.
  • Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A license to practice speech pathology in the state of Arizona.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
