Job Description

As a Dental Assistant at Jungle Roots Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Assisting with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials as needed.
  • Supporting dentists during medical and dental emergencies, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Providing coronal polishing, exposing dental x-rays, and recording treatment information accurately in patient records.
  • Delivering excellent patient care, addressing their concerns, and educating them on oral health and hygiene practices.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience, preferably in a pediatric dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring efficient workflow and seamless patient flow.
