CERTIFIED FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to work as a Sr. Collector in the Special Accounts Department.
As a Sr. Collector, you will be responsible for contacting members to obtain short-term delinquent payments, determining member status, and gathering information to bring short-term delinquent loans current.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact members to obtain short-term delinquent payments
- Determine member status and gather information
- Arrange for payment and schedule to bring short-term delinquent loans current
Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in collections or a related field
- Current with all Fair Collection policies and procedures
- Detailed knowledge and proven experience with collection activities
- Working knowledge of skip tracing techniques
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
