Job Overview

Sard & Leff, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented paralegal to join its team. As a premier alcoholic beverage regulatory and compliance law firm in Georgia, we specialize in local, state, and federal alcohol licensing for retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers.

The ideal candidate will have one to two years of legal experience, preferably with experience in the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) system. Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro skills, including advanced Word features, are required. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple priorities, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file alcoholic beverage applications and related documents in a timely manner
  • Inform clients of documents, meetings, and additional requirements for alcohol licenses and applications
  • Maintain detailed time records for billing purposes
  • Manage and monitor the firm's client calendar, ensuring all meetings and hearings are properly scheduled and deadlines are met
  • Request, disburse, and manage client trust monies
  • Process applications for new state of Georgia alcohol license applications and renewals in the GTC system
Requirements
  • One to two years of legal experience
  • Experience with the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) system
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro experience, including advanced Word features
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively with employees, clients, and attorneys
