This position plays a vital role in providing clinical social work services under supervision, serving individuals with justice involvement within Cabarrus County Detention Center and upon release.
Primary Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments, focusing on suicidality, self-harm, and serious mental illness
- Develop treatment plans, provide clinical recommendations, and maintain accurate records throughout client incarceration
- Foster collaborative relationships with detention staff to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide client education, referrals, and follow-up as needed
- Participate in or lead group sessions aligned with program and client requirements
