We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Insurance Credentialing Coordinator to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Group.
Key Responsibilities- Track and manage provider enrollments, re-credentialing, and new contract applications with commercial and government health plans.
- Perform CAQH maintenance and ensure accurate and timely updates.
- Effectively communicate with Regional Directors and stakeholders regarding the contracting and enrollment process.
- Stay up-to-date with managed care company and plan requirements, and monitor websites for pending revalidations and credentialing requests.
- Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred.
- Strong computer, communication, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of managed care plans, PECOS, NPPES, and CAQH.
