Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Tecomet, Inc.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production times.
- Able to perform complex maintenance repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them utilizing all available reference materials.
- Assist machine vendors with installing and setting up new machines when machines are delivered.
- Provide training and work direction to Maintenance I staff. Assign tasks and oversee completion of work.
Requirements:
">- Possess the mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to determine the cause of operating errors and deciding what to do about them.
- Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and work well with peers, supervisors, and management staff; as well as, outside vendors.
- Ability to provide guidance and direction to subordinates.
- Ability to comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to management staff.
- Ability to wear proper PPE.
- Ability to distinguish between colors.
Work Environment:
">This position has moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily production/technical nature.
">Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
