Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Parkview Health. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.

In this role, you will work closely with physicians to perform specialized procedures, set up and adjust equipment, and position patients to obtain high-quality images. You will also be responsible for securing patient information, providing a safe environment, and recognizing emergent situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures.
  • Work together with physicians to perform specialized procedures.
  • Set up and adjust equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Position patients to obtain high-quality images.
  • Secure and provide patient information.
  • Recognize emergent situations and activate assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training.
  • Current certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(MR) or American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Previous experience in MRI preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.
