Key Duties:

  • Maintenance and Repair:
    Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
  • Operational Support:
    Execute preventative maintenance strategies to prolong the life of facility systems. Oversee building automation systems, making necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency. Participate in planning and implementing facility upgrades.
  • Project Management:
    Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure project completion within established timelines and budgets. Provide technical guidance to address complex maintenance challenges and document project developments.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    Follow all safety regulations and procedures while executing maintenance tasks. Ensure that all work adheres to applicable codes and standards, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with team members to prioritize tasks and maintain seamless operations. Communicate effectively with external service providers when specialized expertise is required, and suggest improvements for facility management practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant trade is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficient in multiple trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, work in various environmental conditions, and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, walking, and climbing.


Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in a facility setting, with potential requirements for evening, weekend, or holiday work as needed.
