Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing shift coverage and 24/7 on-call operational support for all facilities systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire, life, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, and all facility support equipment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support vendors on preventive maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist site with emergency situations (fire alarms, power outages, environmental spills).
  • Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient writing & communication skills.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to use Windows based computers.
  • Ability to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural drawings.

Physical Work Abilities and Requirements:

  • Walking frequently, throughout large facilities.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.
