Job Description

Overview

Parkland Medical Center is seeking a skilled Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse RN to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with New Hampshire license or active Compact License.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • CPI certification within 60 days of hire.
  • PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • TNCC within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience required.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required. BSN preferred.
