Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and cultivate a loyal clientele.
- Manage daily service flow while maximizing reservations and ensuring efficient operations.
- Honor guest reservations within a 15-minute grace period and address any issues with out-of-time reservations.
- Complete all assigned tasks, including daily reports, guest notes, VIP tracking, and preparing for large parties.
- Prepare the service team for VIP guests by reviewing reservations and special requests during pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain high communication standards between the front of house, management, and culinary teams regarding service and guest interactions.
- Answer inquiries promptly and professionally, striving to accommodate guest requests.
- Build rapport with guests to create loyal patrons by remembering their preferences and names.
- Promote our Neighbors Program by encouraging guest sign-ups and maintaining accurate guest notes.
- Efficiently open the restaurant for service, ensuring all front of house management tasks are completed.
Host Team Development
- Train and mentor both new and existing host staff to uphold operational standards.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment for all team members.
- Maintain effective communication with all front of house, back of house, and headquarters personnel.
- Coach and develop the host team to maximize their potential.
Facility / Health & Safety
- Collaborate with other operators to maintain a facility that complies with all health and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and report any issues to senior management.
Business Development
- Leverage a strong network to attract target market guests to the restaurant.
- Develop regular clientele through exceptional guest engagement and experiences.
- Uphold service standards with meticulous attention to detail.
- Foster a culture of understanding our guests to enhance satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to tailor offerings to meet the preferences of our target market.
- Establish partnerships that elevate the restaurant's profile within the community.
