We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Dorman Products. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design and implement safety programs to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury in the workplace.
  • Conduct Hazard/Risk Assessments: Conduct regular hazard/risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to mitigate risks.
  • Lead Incident Investigations: Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analysis to identify causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with OSHA policies and procedures, as well as other regulatory standards.
  • Train and Educate Employees: Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, or related scientific or technical field, and 3+ years of experience in organizational safety and employee health programs.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, and NIOSH rules and regulations, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Physical and Working Conditions: Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
