Position Overview
The Division of Nephrology within the Department of Internal Medicine is in search of a dedicated and meticulous individual to fill the role of Clinical Research Coordinator. This full-time position is ideal for someone who is results-oriented and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. **Recruitment and Enrollment**: Engaging with potential research subjects and managing their enrollment and scheduling.
2. **Data Management**: Developing and maintaining systematic record-keeping procedures to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
3. **IRB Coordination**: Facilitating the development and submission of local Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations.
4. **Protocol Preparation**: Assisting researchers in preparing and submitting protocols for compliance review.
5. **Sample Processing**: Performing blood draws and processing samples as required for specific studies.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in clinical research coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare providers and community representatives.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is highly desirable.
