Job Title: Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our research projects, which focus on studying cancer prevention services in New Mexico and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of research study protocols
  • Implement and execute study protocols, overseeing all aspects of data collection and management
  • Ensure compliance with research requirements at the Department and Cancer Center levels
  • Recruit research participants and community and clinical stakeholders at the local and regional levels
  • Develop logistics and research flow sheets for recruitment, data collection, and data management
  • Interact regularly with faculty and project coordinators regarding individual projects and provide reporting as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Ability to multitask and effectively adapt to changing priorities for multiple research projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate with community partners and clinical faculty
  • Ability to provide oversight over multiple tasks in a research project to ensure timely and effective completion
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of REDCap and Dedoose
