Role Summary:
As the Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable, you will be accountable for the strategic planning, organization, and management of the global Accounts Receivable functions within ITT Shared Services.

Your primary duties will encompass ensuring robust functional controls and processes to provide exceptional Accounts Receivable services to various ITT business units. This includes conducting customer credit assessments, approving sales orders, managing collections, processing customer payments, and executing strategic initiatives aligned with the goals of the Global Accounts Receivable organization.

Your responsibilities will also involve contributing to the strategic direction and global delivery models, leading daily operations, maintaining a strong control environment, reporting on key performance metrics, spearheading projects, managing global service deployment, conducting limited financial analysis, preparing forecasts and budgets, and continuously enhancing service offerings.

You will ensure that project objectives focus on maximizing commonality and leveraging standard solutions and best practices. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of cash application, credit, and collections departments, focusing on staff development.
  • Review customer credit limit assignments and order release processes for serviced business units.
  • Manage and deliver all Accounts Receivable and departmental KPI reporting, including performance improvement analysis.
  • Implement business systems and processes that fulfill business requirements and strengthen internal controls.
  • Drive strategic process enhancements aimed at optimizing Accounts Receivable functions, reducing overdue accounts, and improving cash collections.
  • Enhance service offerings through effective processes, procedures, and delivery models.
  • Supervise and develop staff to ensure high performance.
  • Manage portfolio performance and service growth through new business opportunities and mergers.
  • Control operational costs and manage service expenses.
  • Lead special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:
Education:
B.S. in Finance or Accounting; Credit Certification is preferred.

Experience:
Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, with over 10 years of practical experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a shared services environment is preferred.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Strong skills in process improvement, customer service, communication, leadership, problem-solving, team building, and consensus-building. Ability to act as a change agent.
