Job Summary:

As a key member of the Denver Health team, the Associate Director, Quality and Clinical Performance will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality and clinical performance across the organization. This includes establishing clinical specifications and guidelines, assessing the clinical performance of EMRS participants, and developing and implementing quality assurance procedures to ensure quality patient care and consistency in process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical social work, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and allocating resources to achieve the outcomes of the work unit, as well as independently coordinating system-level initiatives and innovation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring department members to accomplish individual, unit, and enterprise strategic goals
  • Devising evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine need for improvement
  • Articulating and executing the vision, strategy, and direction for the program
  • Cultivating integration of RESTORE services lines
  • Assessing existing service lines and recommending additional activities, service lines, and programs

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, with a Master's Degree preferred. They will also have 3 years of urban prehospital EMS/911 experience with demonstrated leadership qualities and evidence of leading initiatives at the agency, local, or regional levels.

Required licenses/certifications include EMTP-EMT Paramedic - CO - State of Colorado or EMTB-EMT Basic - CO - State of Colorado.
