Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Generalist to join our team in the Precision Health Initiative at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Precision Health Initiative team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, including personnel files and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

This is a restricted position, and the anticipated start date is September 23, 2024. The position is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance, with an end date of December 2026. Anticipated salary is $65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
