Position Overview

The Clothing Merchandiser will play a vital role in fostering a professional and collaborative environment, assisting colleagues and customers with freight handling, merchandise organization, and utilizing a keen eye for effective product placement on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain product displays on the sales floor to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Analyze sales reports to optimize product presentation and inventory management.
  • Support the shop manager in managing inventory for your designated area.
  • Assist customers and sales staff in retrieving and loading purchased items.
  • Label, fold, hang, and price merchandise for display or back stock.
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized personal workspace and surrounding areas, including general cleaning and organization throughout the store.
  • Demonstrate basic math skills for inventory tasks.
  • Read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence and effectively present information in small group settings.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and maintain all aspects of a support role.
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exercise sound judgment and tact while interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with strong oral and written skills.
  • Follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions accurately.
  • Pay attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership and support leads.

Education & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, along with 1-3 months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing with or without reasonable accommodation.

Heavy Work:
Exerting over 100 pounds of force occasionally, over 50 pounds frequently, and over 20 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demands exceed those for heavy work.
