Job Description:
Skyview Dental, a leading dental practice in Noblesville, Indiana, seeks a highly skilled Extended Functions Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to providing exceptional dental services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced dental procedures under the direct supervision of a dentist, including:
- Taking impressions for crowns, bridges, and dentures
- Applying dental sealants and fluoride treatments
- Placing and removing temporary crowns and fillings
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures
Prepare patients for dental procedures
Assist the dentist during treatments
Maintain and sterilize dental instruments
Manage patient records and scheduling
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
