Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver international tax advisory services that add significant value, assisting clients across diverse sectors with their international tax challenges.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of international tax initiatives.
  • Advise clients on optimizing tax structures for international transactions, leveraging tax treaties, and planning for offshore investments and repatriation strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of both international and domestic tax matters utilizing advanced tax research tools.
  • Review complex international tax returns, employing tax software to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Provide technical guidance and share knowledge to enhance business development and mentor junior staff.

Additional Duties:
  • Identify potential international tax challenges and opportunities during engagements and discuss findings with the engagement leader.
  • Engage in client meetings to gather and discuss tax documentation and finalize returns.
  • Participate in core continuing professional education (CPE) programs.
  • Actively engage in community initiatives to build positive relationships with local leaders and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to firm-sponsored events for clients and prospects within your designated product line.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and colleagues.
  • Prepare correspondence and communications related to engagement planning and requests.
  • Adhere to established budgets and timelines.
  • Continuously develop technical expertise.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA certification in the relevant state.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated international tax experience.
  • Prior experience in accounting and/or tax roles.
  • Expertise in similar accounting and/or tax services.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members.
  • A track record of making informed recommendations to management.
  • Prior public accounting experience is preferred.
