Staff Program Manager

DISH Wireless LLC is seeking a highly skilled Staff Program Manager to drive the Radio Access Network Roadmap. This role will engage and align requirements between internal subject matter experts and vendors, conduct periodic program reviews with executives, and work on process improvements. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in program management, including experience with JIRA, Wrike, and Confluence. Additionally, they should have knowledge of 3GPP & GSMA standards, 4G/5G Radio Access and Core Networking technologies, Open RAN solution, Virtualization and Cloud, 5G Core, Transport, and Automation and Orchestration. Domestic travel may be required less than 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
* Drive the Radio Access Network Roadmap, continuously engaging and aligning requirements between the internal subject matter experts and vendors.
* Conduct periodic program reviews with executives, solicit feedback, and work on process improvements.
* Responsible for Vendor delivery of features and test reports in a timely fashion.
* Collaborate with key stakeholder colleagues from the device, product development, and engineering teams to deliver a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with longer-term strategic objectives.
* Work directly with internal international standards teams to gather input, collaborate on standards features and align it to the roadmap process.
* Create overall program plan that aligns with all stakeholders, clearly identify dependencies and outcomes.
* Manage stakeholder expectations regarding technology feature delivery and facilitate resolutions when schedules slip, or business needs change.
* Facilitate a process that holds teams accountable for their deliverables, ensures visibility, and that product and projects are delivered by agreed upon timelines.
* Interact across functional areas with senior management and executives to help the team ensure expected outcomes and objectives are met.
* Evaluate, implement, manage, and improve collaboration processes and procedures.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
* 7 years of experience in job offered or equivalent role working directly with major wireless vendors and/or wireless operators in bringing new technology.
* Experience with program management software including JIRA, Wrike.
* Knowledge of 3GPP & GSMA standards and associated 4G/5G Radio Access and Core Networking technologies.
* Experience with Confluence for projects and features tracking.
* Familiarity with Open RAN (Radio Access Network) solution.
* Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud.
* Experience with 5G Core.
* Familiarity with Transport.
* Experience with Automation and Orchestration.
