Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing. As an OR Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic care to patients undergoing surgical interventions, working closely with surgeons and anesthesia care providers.
  • Utilize universal precautions, correct hand washing techniques, and maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
  • Maintain good body mechanics to prevent injury to self, patients, and staff.
  • Use safety protective devices for self and patient, and check emergency supplies and equipment per unit routine.
  • Assist anesthesiologists, position patients properly, and conduct sponge counts.
  • Scrub in on various surgeries, including minor procedures, plastic, general, GU, oral, GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedic, ENT, cardiac, and thoracic.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of current experience in an Operating Room setting or current operating room nursing certification.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or a master's degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
