  • Location: Northern California
As a key member of the Lunar team, you will play a vital role in the deployment of innovative energy solutions, facilitating pilot initiatives with partners, and delivering comprehensive training and assistance for the installation of Lunar Systems in various environments.
This dynamic position involves extensive travel throughout Northern California, with occasional trips to other regions, where you will support the service and training team in delivering exceptional field assistance and coordination. Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
This position necessitates collaboration across various departments to create a cutting-edge training program aimed at ensuring successful installations, troubleshooting field challenges, performing advanced service diagnostics, resolving technical issues, and promoting safe operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel frequently to provide on-site support and training for installation partners.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all Lunar products and their installation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to swiftly address and resolve technical issues, ensuring quality installations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site.
  • Deliver training sessions for channel partners and internal staff, including ongoing education.
  • Perform quality audits of installations and engage with local authorities to secure necessary permits.
  • Analyze data and report on key performance metrics, offering insights for improvement.
  • Identify common installer errors and propose solutions through training and product enhancements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partner teams, ensuring thorough follow-up on all interactions.
  • Utilize internal communication tools to manage support requests effectively.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience in residential solar, battery, or EV charging systems.

• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

• Valid Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred.

• Proficient understanding of NEC and relevant codes.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs with assistance).

• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

• Capable of performing physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling.
