About the Role

Lunar Energy is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development lifecycle, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware and software for our home energy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and improve our products' impact, marketability, and reliability
  • Brainstorm and evaluate new features and solutions, weighing pros and cons to narrow down options
  • Design and test firmware software for power electronics controls, system-level behaviors, and optimization
  • Optimize manufacturing by designing automation support functionality and testing components
Requirements
  • Degree in computer engineering or adjacent field, or demonstrated commensurate ability
  • 5+ years experience delivering firmware for new products as part of a team
  • Familiarity with AC/DC and DC/DC power converters
  • Proficiency in C and working familiarity with Cmake
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to engineers in various fields
