Job Overview
As a Surveyor Intern at Allan Myers, you will play a vital role in assisting and supporting the planning and coordination of surveying needs on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, hard-working, and able to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Learns the details of the plans and specifications of the assigned project and coordinates with the project team supervisor to prioritize tasks.

Coordinate with operations to obtain necessary equipment and labor for project needs.
Actively seek opportunities to increase the survey function with value-adding activities, new technologies, or ideas.
Participate in in-house pre-construction planning and development of the project schedule as required.
Receive on-the-job training led by experienced members of the Allan Myers team and gain exposure to large-scale heavy civil construction projects.

Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, Business Management, or another related field.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to change.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.
