The Director of Competition at the United Pickleball Association is tasked with managing all competitive elements of pickleball tournaments. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and excellence of competitions, from the initial planning stages to the execution and post-event evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of all pickleball competitions.
- Ensure adherence to the governing rules and regulations of the sport.
- Develop and implement various competition formats and structures.
- Collaborate with officials, referees, and technical personnel to guarantee fair play and efficient operations.
- Manage player interactions, including registration processes, ranking systems, and conflict resolutions.
- Work in conjunction with marketing and sponsorship teams to boost event visibility and participant engagement.
- Continuously assess and enhance the quality and competitiveness of all events.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related discipline.
