Job Summary

As a Radiology Practitioner Assistant at Radiology Partners, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support for radiologists in general fluoroscopic procedures. This includes invasive and non-invasive procedures, such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar punctures, myelograms, joint injections, and hysterosalpingogram.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical support for radiologists in general fluoroscopic procedures
Image screening and evaluation
Administer intravenous medications or contrast media
Catheter placement
Act as an intermediate caregiver on behalf of the radiologists
Report equipment and system malfunctions/errors to supervisor
Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)
Maintain licensure requirements, including continuing medical education and CPR Certification
Monitor status of patient exams to ensure patients have been completed with the necessary documents
Must be willing to learn new technology when applicable

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
Current Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) certification from CBRPA or RRA certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
CPR/BLS required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate required
Current AZ MRTBE State license
BLS AND ACLS certification required
