Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a skilled and courteous Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as the primary point of contact for our guests. This role involves managing all aspects of guest accommodation, including registration, reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all necessary tasks to ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
- Manage online and phone reservations, ensuring accurate information and timely updates.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
- Register guests, collecting necessary information, such as contact details and exact dates of stay.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms accordingly.
- Provide guests with information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to meet guests' needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees.
- Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Experience with hotel reservations software, like PEP.
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking and TripAdvisor.
- A genuine customer service attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (1 year+).
- Customer Service experience (1 year+).
The estimated annual salary is $50,000 - $70,000 based on industry standards.
