Donor Center Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in collecting lifesaving blood donations that are delivered to hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others while developing your healthcare skills and career.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood donations from volunteer donors while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Collaborate with your team to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for donors.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure the quality of the blood collected.
- Provide exceptional customer service to donors and respond to their needs and concerns.
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, good manual dexterity, and adaptability to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
- Prior leadership experience.
