Position Summary:
Wells Fargo is on the lookout for a Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) within the Consumer Lending sector, specifically in Home Lending. This role is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional mortgage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source residential mortgage opportunities from various channels, ensuring the production of high-quality loans that comply with regulations while delivering superior customer service.
- Facilitate loan offerings, negotiate terms, and assist clients in completing applications for secured transactions.
- Evaluate mortgage options tailored to client needs, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Provide insightful recommendations for loan production and exercise independent judgment while gaining knowledge of functional areas, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ascertain their needs and deliver top-notch loan services.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mortgage Retail Sales or equivalent experience through a combination of work, training, military service, or education.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Documented experience in retail residential mortgage funding from established local sources over the past year.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in the mortgage industry.
- Understanding of sales prospecting and referral generation.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is a plus.
- Customer service experience.
Job Expectations:
This role necessitates SAFE registration upon employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the registration process immediately after your start date. Compliance with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's qualification requirements is mandatory, including financial responsibility and background checks.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift over 20 pounds and reliable transportation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is essential.
