New Grad RN Opportunity

Cleveland Clinic's Medina Hospital is a world-class healthcare organization that values its caregivers as family. We are seeking a New Grad RN to join our team in the Complex Medicine Unit, where you will work with highly skilled nurses and receive endless support and appreciation.
About the RoleAs a New Grad RN, you will participate in a year-long residency program, customized to fit your needs and pace. You will provide direct nursing care, be paired with a coach, and develop clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and complex nursing skills.
Responsibilities- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care, alongside a coach, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
- Seek supervision, consultation, assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Comply with established hospital/department personnel policies.
- Use communication strategies in order to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Document in patient's medical record according to established guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
- Other certifications as required by the unit or department.
