Architectural Project Manager Job Overview
This role requires in-person engagement at our Central Florida office, with flexibility based on tenure.
- Oversee a variety of projects within the Architecture division.
- Develop and uphold the project design timeline.
- Facilitate and engage in all client meetings.
- Participate in all project discussions during the construction phase.
- Review and manage the Milestone schedule alongside the Project Manager and Architectural Project Lead to ensure adherence to timelines and document integrity.
- Coordinate with the Architectural Project Lead and Design Staff to ensure the thoroughness and completion of construction documents.
- Collaborate to resolve any design-related challenges.
- Conduct Code research and perform Life Safety assessments.
- Work in conjunction with Construction Project Managers and Jobsite Superintendents.
- Engage with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (A.H.J.) as necessary during the permit review process.
- Ensure effective coordination with:
- Civil engineers and landscape architects regarding site-related matters.
- Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and other external consultants involved in the project.
- In-house structural and precast engineering teams.
- In-house BIM / VDC team.
- Interior Design Team.
- Support the precast manufacturing department.
- Act as a mentor for junior staff members.
Qualifications
- A 5-year Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited institution.
- Registered Architect in Florida is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in integrating structural and MEPFP systems.
- A minimum of five years of experience leading teams on commercial or residential projects.
- Proficient communication skills in both written and verbal English at a professional business level.
- Must reside in Central Florida or be willing to relocate.
