About the Role

The Construction Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting our General Contracting team and ensuring the successful completion of all ongoing projects. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support for project start-up, job files, records maintenance, and close-out
  • Participating in design and preconstruction meetings to document project status and ongoing tasks
  • Assisting with daily logs of work completed, personnel on-site, material deliveries, and delays
  • Coordinating with project teams on all active items in Procore, including submittals, RFI's, contracts, change orders, safety documentation, and close-out documentation
  • Managing project-related paperwork, ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored
  • Directing project correspondences, preparing and reviewing memos, meeting minutes, and emails
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with owners, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Performing general day-to-day office tasks to support the Director and in-office staff

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of the general construction industry and relationships with trade partners
  • Experience working on multifamily projects
  • Understanding of construction specifications and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Procore and other construction software is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial ownership mindset, with a focus on business growth and client satisfaction
  • High integrity, with a strong commitment to trust, directness, and truthfulness
