Penn Station East Coast Subs General Manager Opportunity

Penn Station East Coast Subs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the restaurant, including managing employees, controlling costs, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage employees and operations of the restaurant, including hiring, firing, labor laws, and scheduling.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Health Department Guidelines and operate the restaurant within those parameters.
  • Submit necessary paperwork and reports monthly for the restaurant and employees.
  • Maintain stock by placing weekly inventory orders.
  • Deliver deposits to the bank on behalf of the restaurant.
  • Provide professional customer service and address all customer complaints.
  • Supervise crew members, crew leaders, and Assistant Managers.
  • Effectively open and close the store.
  • Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  • Create and maintain schedules for team.
Requirements:
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Working knowledge of back office computer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
  • Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday.
