Molecular Biology Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Translational Research Scientist II to join our Molecular Profiling group at Intelliswift Software Inc. in South San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities- Perform gene expression profiling using targeted and NGS technologies to support basic research, preclinical and development activities, and translational biomarker work.
- Conduct RNA/DNA isolation from various tissues/cells from human, non-human primate, and rodents.
- Develop and implement new protocol methods centric to NGS platforms.
- Present relevant data and results to the team.
- B.S/B.A/M.S/PHD in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or molecular biology.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in industry or academia.
- Knowledge in molecular biology techniques, including RNA/DNA isolation and NGS library preparation.
- Experience with RNA/DNA QC platforms such as the Fragment analyzer, Agilent Bioanalyzer or Tapestation.
- Experience with RT-qPCR methods and platforms.
- Familiarity with NGS platforms, specifically Illumina MiSeq and Novaseq.
- Some experience with liquid automation for sample RNA/DNA isolation and NGS library prep.
- Some experience with multi-omics NGS platforms, low sorted cell populations, and/or single-cell RNAseq.
- Some experience with NGS analysis data visualization software such as Cell Ranger or BioTuring.
This is a 2-year assignment. Lab based role at South San Francisco, CA. We are looking for candidates who have both computation and wet-lab NGS skillsets. Hep A Titer- Titer will be done post offer by CLIENT when on assignment. Candidate should be comfortable.
