Heavy Equipment Paver Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our team at Southwest Concrete Paving Co. as a Project CQCM for airfield and highway projects.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and performing daily QC responsibilities to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with established contract documents. This includes direct oversight and review of documentation and physical inspections, working with project teams, and ensuring compliance with contract plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and reinforce the Quality Control Plan of the project
- Oversee and ensure QC for all project activities
- Manage daily reports and delegate tasks to supporting staff
- Manage the USACE/NAVFAC Three Phase Quality Control Process
- Coordinate with on-site third-party labs and manage documentation
- Direct and manage the activities of direct subordinates on the project site
- Ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and relevant ASTM and COE procedures
- Determine and document deficiencies and ensure timely correction
- Maintain current records and participate in completion inspections
- Act as liaison and point of contact for NAVFAC/USACE and SWCP
- At least 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in airfield, heavy highway, or heavy civil construction
- Experience as a QC manager on USACE construction projects
- 10 years combined experience as a superintendent, QC manager, project manager, or project engineer on military or FAA airfield projects
- Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification
- Proficiency in RMS 3.0 and ECMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass a drug test and obtain Federal Clearance to access Military Installations
