Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team at DEX Imaging. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and performing diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and dealer-owned copier equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support during field visits or dispatches.
  • Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Follow all company procedures and protocols.
  • Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Build positive relationships with customers.
  • Work as part of a cohesive team within the shop to meet customer needs.
  • Follow all safety practices of the organization when completing work assignments.
  • Maintain company vehicles, inventory, and tools in proper working condition.
  • Maintain knowledge on existing products and pursue additional technical and product knowledge by actively participating in training programs.
  • Communicate with customers and answer questions relative to the work being performed.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to manage service calls that require more time than anticipated without becoming frustrated or rushing through a job.
  • Superb customer service skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems from non-technical descriptions provided by customers.
