Role Overview:

As an IT Support Technician, you will enhance the productivity of our teams by delivering assistance for company desktops and applications, which include a variety of platforms such as Microsoft, Mac, Linux, and iOS. Your responsibilities will encompass first-level support for numerous end-user applications, including Google Workspace, Slack, O365, Okta, 1Password, Intune, and Mosyle, along with managing account provisioning for all our applications. You will facilitate the technical onboarding of new hires by ensuring timely provisioning of hardware and software tailored to individual user requirements.

Work Arrangement: This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with attendance at the office expected 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with Slingshot's core values and mission.
  • Deliver direct support for IT equipment and provide exceptional customer service to users both within and outside the organization.
  • Offer first-level troubleshooting assistance for a range of technical issues while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Serve as the primary contact for daily support regarding applications, hardware, and networking challenges.
  • Address the daily queue of helpdesk requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide after-hours support for urgent IT matters.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks for employees, including secure handling of IT equipment logistics, system setup, and account management.
  • Adjust accounts and services across various platforms to align with staffing needs.
  • Conduct hardware and software upgrades on laptops and desktops.
  • Troubleshoot corporate technology systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay informed about new developments in computing technologies relevant to Slingshot.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above).
Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances.
Essential Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an IT or Help Desk support role, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Proficient knowledge of software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
  • Experience with both Microsoft and Mac OS environments.
  • Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to best practices in privacy and security.
  • Experience with software as a service (SaaS) and other hosting protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proven experience in delivering professional and courteous customer service.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Okta or similar identity management solutions.
  • Familiarity with MDM software such as Mosyle or Intune.
  • Experience in hardware provisioning and procurement.
  • Background in a startup environment working with diverse teams.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.

Salary Range: $55,000-$82,000
