Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician Specialist to join our team at ICON Consultants, LP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the test and troubleshooting of racked solutions in a high-paced program environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and Troubleshoot Racked Solutions: Utilize your technical expertise to deploy customer specifications and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with peers, supervisors, and engineering support to ensure seamless execution of test plans and troubleshooting.
  • Log and Analyze Failure Data: Accurately record and analyze failure data in our online system to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise and knowledge with colleagues to enhance our team's technical capabilities.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as required to support the success of our team.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems, as well as knowledge of network transfers, pre-boot execution environment, and TCP/IP.
  • Hardware Experience: Previous experience with hardware and understanding of infrastructure and test methods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical trends and concerns.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Education: Minimum requirement of a technical associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Networking, Computer Engineering/Tech; or relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • VMware Knowledge: Knowledge of VMware is preferred.
  • Virtualization Experience: Experience in virtualization is preferred.
  • Unix/Linux Experience: Unix/Linux experience is required.
