As an IT Support Technician, you will enhance team productivity by delivering assistance for company desktops and applications, encompassing a variety of platforms including Microsoft, Mac, Linux, and iOS. Your role will involve providing tier one support for numerous end-user applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, O365, Okta, 1Password, Intune, and Mosyle, in addition to managing account provisioning across all applications. You will facilitate the technical onboarding of new hires by ensuring timely provisioning of hardware and software tailored to individual user requirements.
Work Arrangement: This position requires a hybrid work schedule, with attendance at the office expected 2-3 days per week.
Position Duties:- Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with Slingshot's core values and mission.
- Deliver direct service for IT equipment and provide customer support to users both within and outside the organization.
- Offer first-level troubleshooting for a variety of technical issues while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for daily support regarding applications, hardware, and networking challenges.
- Address the daily queue of helpdesk requests promptly and efficiently.
- Provide after-hours support for urgent IT matters.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding tasks for employees, including secure handling of IT equipment, system setup and removal, and account management.
- Adjust accounts and services across various platforms to align with staffing needs.
- Conduct hardware and software upgrades on laptops and desktops.
- Troubleshoot corporate technology systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Stay informed about new developments in computing technologies utilized by Slingshot.
- Perform additional duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above).
- Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances.
- 2+ years of professional experience in an IT or Help Desk support role, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Familiarity with computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
- Experience with both Microsoft and Mac OS environments.
- Understanding of Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to industry best practices regarding privacy and security.
- Experience with software as a service (SaaS) and other software hosting protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficient in delivering professional and courteous customer service.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Experience with Okta or similar identity management solutions.
- Familiarity with MDM software such as Mosyle or Intune.
- Experience in hardware provisioning and procurement.
- Background in a startup environment with a high-performing team and diverse stakeholders.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.

Salary Range: $55,000-$82,000
