- Implement plans to meet students' social and daily living skills, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and changing clothing.
- Support teachers in implementing instructional programs and improving students' academic success.
- Monitor students and maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Perform record-keeping and clerical functions to support teachers and administrators.
- Support data collection and documentation of student activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the school.
- Experience working with students, preferably in a special education setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to helping students achieve academic and emotional success.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require sitting, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
