Special Education Teacher Opportunity

Soliant Education, in partnership with a Louisiana school district, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to create an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to foster an inclusive classroom.
  • Assess and adjust instructional strategies based on student progress.
  • Utilize varied teaching methods, materials, and technology to enhance learning.
  • Maintain accurate student records of performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Understanding of learning disabilities and effective intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability for onsite work.
  • Passion for working with students with diverse needs.
  • Adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
