Opportunity:

Goals:

Special Education teachers are expected to enable students to achieve IEP goals and make significant progress in various assessments.

Responsibilities:

Design classroom instruction using research-based strategies

Develop curriculum using principles of backwards design

Implement research-based programs according to best practices

Analyze results from multiple sources to drive instruction

Maintain a school culture of high behavioral expectations

Maintain frequent communication with student families
