Job Title: Material Review Board Engineer Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Material Review Board Engineer to join our team at Management Business Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas turbine design and a proven track record of reviewing and disposing of non-conforming materials.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and disposition non-conforming materials, including parts, deviation requests, and waivers from OEMs and the supply base.
* Collaborate with Design Authorities to assess part repair requirements or usage parameters.
* Conduct assessments related to engineering principles such as tolerance stacks, GD&T interpretation, interchangeability, and repair requirements.
* Mentor, train, and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
* Participate in quality control processes, including Corrective Action Boards (CAB), and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

* BSME/BSAE degree.
* 7+ years of experience in gas turbine design (aero-engine preferred) with partial MRE certification.
* In-depth experience with MRB (Material Review Board) processes and non-conformance management in government-regulated industries (Aerospace & Defense, Medical, Mass Transit).
* Experience interacting with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for managing and storing NC data.
* Expertise in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, with strong knowledge of GD&T and modern manufacturing processes (metal, composites).
* Proven experience in quality assurance processes, including part qualification, non-conforming material disposition, and continuous improvement projects.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to customers and regulatory representatives.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
* Experience with developing and mentoring junior engineers is highly valued.

Work Environment:

* Office and/or shop floor environments with periodic physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
* Frequent use of a computer for technical work, reviewing documents, and managing data.
* Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
* Ability to travel and work on-site at customer locations as required.
