Job Summary:

In this pivotal role as a Learning and Development Expert, you will play a critical part in our commitment to serve others by designing and implementing training programs that support field operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive course curricula that meet the evolving needs of our staff.
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to identify skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations, and changes in policies and procedures.
  • Create engaging training aids, such as manuals, handouts, course exercises, and visual aids, to facilitate effective learning.
  • Deliver instruction using various modalities, including one-on-one, classroom, teleconferencing, web-based training, and computer-based training.
  • Work closely with management, internal training consultants, and HR to identify additional training needs for new staff members.
  • Evaluate and refine training programs based on ongoing feedback, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Design and facilitate client-specific and clinical-type training, as well as new hire orientation, CPR, and medical administration courses.
  • Contribute to the formulation and modification of agency-wide training procedures and practices.
  • Stay abreast of organizational and industrial trends, providing recommendations for new or updated training programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
  • One year of related experience preferred; Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities expertise a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment.
  • Light travel required (3-4 times a year).
