About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Account Manager to join our team at WEG Electric Corp. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a sales territory business plan to increase WEG product sales and market share in East Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase WEG product sales and market share in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and OEMs to drive sales growth.
  • Administer corporate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide product training to customers and ensure they are aware of the features and benefits of WEG products.
  • Travel to customer locations and attend trade shows to promote WEG products and build relationships with customers.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of applicable industrial sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical motors and motor controls, as well as experience with pumps, compressors, fans, and material handling applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
