About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team at the Royal Bank of Scotland. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality audit engagements, providing assurance on the effectiveness of our internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Develop and execute continuous risk assessments and monitoring
  • Provide input to the strategic audit plan and ensure compliance with audit methodology
  • Share best practices and quality assurance across our global audit teams
  • Provide quarterly insights to the audit committee and executive management
Requirements
  • Internal auditor or risk manager experience with a strong understanding of regulatory environments
  • Experience leading teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and communicate complex information
  • Experience with Agile audit methodology and ability to challenge and influence confidently
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to actively identify and develop talent through coaching, feedback, and development
